Off topic question about trickle battery chargers

Looking for Op's on this . I have a boat with 2 battery's There is a battery switch where I can isolate each battery or both.
Question:
If I hook up a trickle charger on one battery & leave the switch set on Both ,this trickle charger will eventually charge both battery's ?

they use a computer chip to regulate the charge. When I had my kayak, I had two 7amp 12v batteries connected in sequence (I think - red to red black to black to make 14amp 12 v) in a water proof box and would connect to my trickle charger to the single red and black line plugs I had extending out of the box with no issues.

Yes it will. I have a boat with 3 batteries and they all charge at the same time.

Thanks ! I was pretty sure it would work . I'm afraid the boat sits on it's trailer far to long these days.

I 'm curios about what charger. I did this with an automatic charger and cooked both batteries. It was not a trickle charger.
Now I just do these

Hey siggy, I just want to keep the battery's charged while it sits. It's just a cheap trickle charge I got from Harbor Freight. If it works great if not I'll look for something like You picture.
I have a battery charger on hand when needed.
