Looks like it is the year of the Dirk!! The guy is tearing it up. Might we see a rematch of the 2006 season??? Tonight will be a good indicator - The Heat looking good lately though!!

Damet Rose and his Bulls put up a good fight but no cigar Lebron, Wade and Bosch were just too much for them in ot I don't see the Bulls advancing on this one and seems like the NBA finals will be the Mavs vs Heat a match up that will be NICE to watch

I love how everyone picked the MAVS to be upset by Portland, then gave them zero chance with LA, and then questioned them against okc as well.

I dont know - the Mavs lost to a worse Heat team back in 2006 with a better Mavs team....this time the Heat are sick....If they shut down Dirk, it could be game over! I know i am bias but this Heat team has really surprised me with their defense - it is really good!
Like the mavs don't spend money, lol. Same old mavs are gonna break your heart again.

I was waiting for that jab but, the main difference between owners that pay for teams is that fact that those 3 guys decided on their own to join up together and take pay cuts. Even if the pay cuts were minimal, still it shows that they really wanted to play together...hell the Bulls almost had this team if Wade decided he wanted to play for Chicago. Also it's easier to be good when you arent expected to be (i.e Mavs) versus the Heat who have been hated from day one with all kinds of pressure. Do you mean like Dirk taking less than max to try to get another premiere player in Dallas? Or that we picked up a bargain chip with Tyson Chandler while we are blowing 6 million on Haywood? I agree, the Mavs spend money, but nowhere near what the Heat spent (and those guys did take cuts as well). I'd love to see LeBron and Dirk together, or Wade and Dirk!
Same old Mavs, huh? Like the same old Mavs who swept Phil Jackson? A head coach that had never been swept in the playoffs before?

That means squadoosh for the playoffs (and I am a Mavs fan!). The Heat are playing really well right now. I will say that Chicago has been hit and miss through the playoffs in every series - so I'm not surprised to see them doing as poorly as they are. 5 on 1 is a bit lopsided in any game. It is just impressive that D-Rose made it to the East finals by himself.
