Ok to dip bounce mushrooms?

I’m going to be picking one up later today and wanted to know if it’s ok to dip them? I normally use KCL. I assume that it’s ok, just wanted to double check.

Dips on mushrooms and any soft corals can be tricky. I personally only dip those with a light iodine dip for any bacteria infections then in the tank they go

I forgot to mention flat worms can be on the mushrooms and easy to see in my opinion. Strong turkey baster takes those off easy

I dip mine in SeaChem Dip with iodine and no problems.
