I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's ok to (or does) run a sediment filter when mixing their saltwater (to ideally clean out any particulate in the salt mix that shouldn't be there)? I was considering just using a sediment filter and pump instead of a powerhead. If it's ok to do this, what size sediment filter would be recommended? If it's not ok to do this, may I ask why not? Thanks for any and all feedback!!!
