Hello, i found a used tunze ph controller with a practically new ph probe that was never wet and in its original box, the manufacture date of the probe is 4.2009 it is 10 years old. Is it possible i get a correct reading or the ph probe is long gone and need replacement? Thank you!

An electrode is basically a 100mV battery, just like a battery it will die only from being stored, they generally are only good for 3-4 years after being made, it is possible to drain it and refill it with 3 molar KCL solution and extend the life a little but it only maybe gives 6-12 months and so old I don't think it is worth doing. I would replace it.
