Wanting to get that build thread badge and work on it a little at a time. Figured I would start from the top down so, here is the canopy that I assembled from oak baseboards salvaged from a dumpster. Painted and attached a piano hinge to my 4 lamp T-5 Aquatic life fixture with pop rivets. The Kessil AP 700's were then attached using the canopy mounts and cable clips to hold them to the Aquatic Life Fixture. This allows for good access to the display. Trying to show just this for now, then add more later. Thanks!

The Flow is (2) MP 40's and (2) octo pulse 2's. Oh that's my old sump in there that was in use before the basement sump upgrade, Pics to follow.

The stand is a cheapo from Amazon, I think it was about 200.00 six years ago.

I built the stand and drilled a standard 75 gallon aquarium. To plumb in the Iwaki MD 55RLT return pump which pushes plenty of flow through 12 feet of head, Arctica 1/10 hp chiller and 40 Watt Pentaire aquatics UV sterilizer. I used aquarium silicone and acrylic to create the baffles in the sump.

Cepex Ball valves and silicone tubing to isolate the return pump.

Brs dosing pumps programmed via an apex oscillate program. They are programmed to work through the night when the display lights are out. A kessil H80 grows a good ball of chaeto in the sump.

There's not much else except a Tunze 3155 ATO, 30 gallon fresh water reservoir on carpet sliders, a Reef octopus int 200 Skimmer and of course the APEX to manage the system.

Thanks for checking my system out! IMG_0805.jpg IMG_0795.jpg IMG_0422.jpg IMG_0797.jpg IMG_0825.jpg IMG_0825.jpg IMG_0422.jpg IMG_0422.jpg

Thanks JumboShrimp! That Reef octopus 200 INT is awesome and handles the 130 gallon total system volume easily, Maybe even a lil overkill. Geeze, I left so much out of the build description wise. EDIT,EDIT,EDIT. :)

SteveMac84,

I only wish my Camera would take better pics of the display. A friend recommended the coral view/polyplab lens filters a while back. I ought to at least try them if posting for all to see!;Shamefullyembarrased

Thanks for your Kindness!
