Locally I’ve found what is supposedly a used Waterbox 4820 For sale. Supposedly a one owner tank that was ran for 9 months but I noticed the doors, stand and sump are different then what WB currently offers. So I’m wondering if this an older unit, any concerns with it and if 1400$ is to much.

Thanks for any input.

I just bought a new brand 6025 peninsula, so I know a little about it from research. A lot of people say the cabinet sucks because it only has doors on that side only. You can't change it to the other side. The sump was updated in the new one. It has filter socks, and can't get a fleece roller. That sump is smaller than the new current one I believe.

If I was you, I'd just spend the extra 1,100 and get a brand new never touched water with the updated cabinet and sump, and you know its history.

@Kzang thanks for the feedback. That’s where I’m leaning. Currently the way the doors are configured are opposite of my preference.
