I have no idea how they bubble. Lol. They were super bubbly when I got them. Thank you! So for my maintenance routine:
Scrape glass as needed.
Dump skimmer biweekly
Change filter socks 3-4 days
Feed 1-2x daily (more often 2) LRS Reef Frenzy
I use ESV B ionic mag, alk, cal, on a Jabeo doser
Instant ocean reef crystals salt at 1.026, 5-10 gal water change bi weekly depending on what the tank says it needs. I don’t actually test as often as I should, but more go off what the tank tells me (it’s been running for a while now so learning to listen to it) Gave up chasing numbers. No idea my po4 or pH since the beginning, not have I looked into them. I think a lot of success has to do with my lack of automation and more hands on approach so I always know what’s going on.
I vacuum the bare bottom into a fresh filter sock in my sump and take my time so I don’t feel rushed in removing too much water.
