Diy Wood stands are notorious for being not 110% level and even concrete floors are often not perfectly flat , this often helps the tank fail early , paper shims maybe
I agree with what you are saying but there was already a small crack in it that I decided to risk it. I was aware of the chance and had things in place to get everything moved out quick. I do however see that innovate Marine has a sale for 40% off tank and stand if you are willing to wait the 12-16. Just wish I hadn’t just bought a foxface or I would be jumping on that and letting the clowns stick it out in the 20G backup I have.

Ok u got it flat and level , even glass was not always cut straight in the past before these new Lazer jigs

The only thing that sucks it that the stand is setup for that tank which is 72x18. Which the only brands that make that are Aqueon and Marineland
