One MP40 for a 24x20 tank

I currently have a Waterbox tank (24x20x20) with two Nero 3 pumps, but they’ve been giving me constant trouble, as they stop running at least once a day. I’m considering replacing them with a single MP40 and was wondering if one would provide enough flow for my mixed reef setup. Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated!

2 mp10s would probably be better. One would only allow flow from one direction, two would allow for alternating flow patterns. Used them on my 40b which is 36x18 and loved them

The MP40 is powerful enough but second the point that 2 smaller powerheads are better than one.

I have two 40s on my 36"36"20H tank and I get a sandstorm if I crank them above 40%.

I'm feeling similar to @Crabs McJones that one power head is going to be a single direction of flow. I'm going to run 2 mp10s on my IM 20 23x15x13"
I run two 40s on my 36x22x22" tank but it's bare bottom with acros.
