My fellow reefers, first time post here. Couldn't find any topics on this so I thought I'd reach out for some help. I have a blue hippo in qt who came down with ich after new tank mate was added and things got a little heated. Fish has been in qt for almost 3 weeks now. All symptoms of ich are gone. But there is one spot on pectoral fin that won't go away. I tried fw dip. Tried removing the spot by hand. Wont go away. My question is should I leave in qt longer? Is there cases of permanent single white spot on a fish. Doesn't seem like and ich from my experience I could be wrong. I want to also add it looks like it has gotten smaller in size but still there. Other than that the fish is healthy eating great no spots besides this. Any body experience this? Thanks

It’s hard to really make out in the pics shown.
Proper ich treatment is 30 days in copper in a sterile qt that has no rock or sand (which absorb copper and reduces the actual dose) as well as a 60 day fallow period in the dt.

Thanks, Ended up dropping her back in dt tank. haven't gone fallow for 60 days I'm sure that will help since this is the 3rd time I pull a couple tangs for ich In 6 months. I will remove sand and rock from qt tank for future occurrences. treating food with with mp as preventative ,the fish was rubbing against rock today. So I'm assuming ich is still present. I will treat for now if I see spots I'll pull all for 30 days n go fallow 60 hopefully that fixes the issue. Tanks for the input! You Can see the spot a littler clearer in last photo in dt tank, here's a few more photos

I can see it - it could be ich but with just 1 spot it’s always hard to tell for sure until it develops further.
It could also just be damage/injury.
