Hello All! I'm new to Reef2Reef and I thought I just start with posting a picture of my reef tank. Picture one is the current way my tank looks, but I'm still unsatisfied with the way it looks so I will probably change its layout in the near future once I get rid of some of my SPS and the frog spawn I placed directly in the middle because I have no where else to place it.
My tank has always been next to the window, so I only have problems during the winter when I have to bust out the 300w for my 60 gallon shallow SPS dominated tank. I don't have a sump and probably never will use one. Some of the pictures are current and some are from a few months back. I appreciate any suggestions in making it better or tips in making SPS grow healthier! Thank you!
All pictures were taken with either with a polarized yellow lens (that I popped out from a cheap sunglass) or with just a cell phone camera. I'm still waiting on the filter gels to take better shots.
