We now have the oportunity to add optics to the bridgelux value fixtures! The charge will be $49 extra regardless of optic degrees, but there are 2 chioces, 90 degree, or 60 degree. With the 90 degree, you get more spread but less intensity, with the 60 degree, you get more intensity, but a little less spread. Let us know what you think, we have a poll up to determine the ratio of your opinions, please feel free to vote!

Leds are way bright as it is, and too focalized for many corals imo. Better spread and color options are called for. The 90 degree optic seems like an obviously better choice, especially for a value fixture. Cover more area with less, more efficient.

currently, they have 120 degree optics, which is a little too much. We will try both and report back, the general concensus seems to be in favor of the 90 degree optics.

The pre order price is $249 shipped, it should be about 2-3 weeks at this point.
