Options for fuges

HI all,
I'm redesigning my sump room for my 220 gallon display. Currently I have a 75g glass tank for my sump and a few 10g glass tanks for refugiums. Ideally I'd like to take advantage of the space I have and create more room for rock and macro algae in multiple fuges. I like the large rubbermaid stock tank idea but most of them are too wide for the space I'm working with. Trying to keep them under 24" wide. Functionality over aesthetics here.

Two options I'm thinking of

1) Plywood. I've never attempted this but have done some reading online and seems doable and a fun project. I could build the specific HxWxD as needed. Is this plywood fuge/frag tank idea still a good one?

2) Saw some people using hydroponic tanks made from plastic. Not sure if these hold up well with live rock, sand, salt and are drillable. Something like this: https://hydrobuilder.com/active-aqua-premium-deep-flood-table-white-2-x4.html

3) Waiting for some used glass aquariums / frag tanks to come my way. Glass is nice to be able to observe but also have the chance of breaking.

Any other options I'm missing?

Maybe stack your 10G tanks vertically and daisy chain them together. Small pump in sump pumps up to top fudge that ones overflow goes into next fudge down , etc.

So funny. thats what I have now! I have 4 10g tanks stacked vertically one flowing into the other. Works well. With the redesign my plan was to line them up horizontally in a different spot. That's where I'm at until I started thinking of better use of space. Also can keep 10g tanks as holding / acclimation / QT tanks b/c of the observable glass. With some plan and simple long, shallow rectangles I could load them with rock, sand, chaeto.
