Ora green toadstool possibly splitting?

I have been noticing my green toadstool slowly tearing a piece of itself off. Is this how these guys self frag? There’s nothing in the tank that messes with it and it gets good flow and light. I have never seen this with any of my other toadstools, anyone have any ideas?

ya they will do that on their own, keep your eye on it though, just to make sure it's not tissue die off

So far nothing is dying, she’s just tearing, ever so slowly. Thank you for the input
