Nice closeup - I have one and we call him The Godfather because of his big jaw LOL. Kind of looks like Marlon Brando...

I would like to get one in my reef, but have a starry blenny that tends to be territorial towards any fish that hang around the bottom/rockwork; she killed a royal gramma; anyone have any experience keeping the two together?

We love our yellow watchman. He teamed up with our snapping shrimp over a year ago. Great fish! He even gets along with smaller gobies, he just "yells" at them if they get too close.

I had a pair of yellow watchman and pistol shrimp. but the goby died. I think the shrimp is still alive I have seen him once in a while poke his head out of his borrow.

What size tank do you have? I have kept these two fish together for years with no problem but have a larger tank.

my starry just sits in rock holes or a yellow submarine ..... make more homes and it may be less territorial (we joke that hes makes each home a new "summer home")
