So excited, haven’t had a new fish in so long

picked up this fellah, scopas leaving alone so far, blue yellow belly regal leaving alone so far...we’ll see what the night holds...

in a 180g now, those with experience should i be fearful of it out growing, i know most data i see says 180g minimum

Beautiful fish .....
I haven’t seen one too big for a 6’ long tank yet. .
Not sure of their full size .
mine is starting to change but still mostly yellow

Yah, he has transistioned

the lfs i got at said i should be good 6-8 and obviously the aquarium will stunt him as well

but like all things, i wanna make sure decisions are right for tank size

I've had mine in a 210g(same footprint) for over 8 years. He's beefy but doesn't seem to being growing out, maybe at about 8" super fat, constant grazer. Great fish
