So who has one or two in there lps/sps display? I'm thinking about picking up a pair today? What's your experience like with them?

Somebody has been reading the DD sneak peak email :) haha

These are gorgeous fish and I would love to have some. Good luck with them if you pick some up and keep us updated.

I would just hate to have them and be stuf trying to get them out, I know they are notorious for picking at sps polyps but what about fleshy lps?

From what I've read, they ONLY associate SPS as food until weaned off. BlueZooAquatics actually has a decent writeup here.

Hope that helps

I remember awhile ago on reef builders there was a guy with a huge sps tank and an orange spot filefish in it and since there was so much coral the filefish was able to munch on it and it could replenish itself i will have to see if i can find the post

I kept one successfully in a 20g seahorse tank for a little over a year! He/She was extremely finicky and took months of half live/half frozen brine to ween.

-I say DO IT!!

Years ago I had a pair, before people were rearing them off of sps. I had a large system I would rotate porcillipora between my frag tanks and DT for them.
