FOODS AND FEEDING– The Orangebanded Coralfish consumes invertebrates, small crustaceans, zooplankton, and a varied diet of marine fare for carnivores and herbivores.
REEF COMPATIBILITY – With caution, may nip at stony corals and some soft corals such as Xeniids.
CAPTIVE CARE –The Orangebanded Coralfish adapts well to captivity and prefers a tank with plenty of swimming room, temperatures in the range of 70-75 F (21-24 C), and an established reef structure with sponges and small crustaceans. This species should be kept with non-aggressive tank mates until acclimated and can be kept as a pair in large systems.
