COMMON NAME - Orbiculate Batfish (orbic platax, Orbic Batfish)
SIZE- 22.4" (57 cm)
MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 200 US Gal. (757 L)
FOODS AND FEEDING - Pieces of fresh shrimp, scallop, vitamin enriched Brine shrimp, frozen preparations for herbivores. Feed 3 times a day.
REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat Anemones, some corals, and many sessile invertebrates.
CAPTIVE CARE - Ich magnet, needs a deep tank with plenty of free swimming room, peaceful and more than one can be kept in large systems, do not keep with fin nippers (puffers etc.)
