Orbit Marine 72" IC LOOP PRO Dual LED System w/HUB (4228)

Looking for anyone who actually uses this fixture, or similar size, (or used in the past) and what your overall view is about it. Particularly what type of corals you keep under it and how are they doing? I understand there are better fixtures but I'm curious about this one in particular. Thanks!

In a shallow tank (12" or less) they work pretty well. In a deeper tank, stick to easier, low light corals.

It's listed as a total wattage of 144 (2x 72W) though the add on is listed as 63 watts ( model 4128)

63 watts over 144 leds means that each led is less than 0.5 watts. Those are VERY weak for an aquarium. Most led systems use leds that are 3 watts per led and some are even 5 watts per led.

Weak for a sw system yes. 1/2w emitters can still push a good deal of par with enough of them.
I also believe that unlike most lights of this caliber these are lensed at 90 degrees not 120.

I wouldn't be surprised if the above lights at 100% can push 140 Par at light face to 18".
Just need to "plant" accordingly.

Hmm I might have been a bit optimistic but the top chart still wasn't at 100%
(why take off 10% on the whites?)
and had par (12" + 3") at about 135 in the center.
