I'm finally getting ready to order the Orca for my display and would like a recommendation on whether to go with the 6075 or the 6105. I realize that for the additional $50 the 6105 looks like the better option but I am concerned about the size of the pump.

My display is 72" x 30" wide x 24" deep. I've been running 3 Neptune WAVs for years but since they are no longer made and I'm tired of spending to replace them about every 3 years it's time to move on. Plus one of the 3 just died recently.

Display only has two viewing sides, the left and the front. I've attached some photos so you can visualize. My overflow is a little unusual in the it is "L" shapped and takes up about half of the right pane, though that side is only 8" from a wall so really not a viewing panel. I currently have 2 WAVs, one on each side pane. There was one in the middle back on the angled side of the overflow near the return but I had to move it to the left pane when that one died. Return is on a SeaSwirl.

Anyway, I'm going to start with one Orca on the left side near the corner and plan on adding another one at the right side when my next WAV dies. As I said, I'm concerned about the size of the 6105. So I could go with a 6075 now and then add another later, or maybe two if that makes more sense given my tank.

Can you let me know what you think?

The 6075 is not enough for that tank. I would go with the 6105. Add a 24V powersupply and the output will be the same as the 6255's.

I have a 6ft 180 gallon tank. I use the 6105 orca and would not go smaller. I currently use one orca and 2 mp40’s.
