Orphek atlantik v4s

Hey everyone, just picked up some orphek atlantik v4s from someone local for 100 each, I ended up ordering new replacement leds to replace the few burnt out leds.

Issue being is trying to track down a Gateway for these lights.

Anyone know of someone with older orphek gateways.

Might try to turn these orphek v4s into a diy build if I can't find a Gateway.

There are upgrade kits available. I believe this would work for you?

So a total cost of $265/ light.

With a ton of luck maybe a
Zigbee appliance may work. Not likely but ?

Simple diy using just the led board would run about $50 for drivers for each board assuming you keep the 6 channels.
$100+ for a controller. Only need one.

You may be able to hack the drivers on the main board. Board has drivers, microcontroller, wifi, and power connectors for the fans and LEDs. Lots of approaches none that are " economical" in cost or time ..afaict


Since your light and the gateway seem to be a set your best bet is someone who wants to dump gateway and light. Finding just the gateway would ve/ is harder I suppose

But who knows ..
Believe the orig cost was like $50 - $100 for the gateway.

Personally ..IF $165 is the doable upgrade cost.. I'd consider it.

Any diy will likely lose some functionality.
Or end up costing more in parts and labor.

Don't get me wrong...sounds like an interesting exercise .

Do the icon upgrades. I did and never looked back. You bought them stupid cheap, so you should be okay as far as costs versus value. If you ever want to sell those, id be interested as well.

I agree. The app that uses the gateway is very old now and my pixel won't even load it. I have to use an old phone to control the lights now.
