This is our 150 Gal tank that has been in operation since 2003. It has 4 AI Sol lights running 14 hrs per day. It sits between our dinning area and living room as a room divider. In the basement we run protein skimmer, calcium reactor along with a 50 gal refugium stocked with taxifolia. A mated pair of clowns reside in the Saba anemone along with a Clown Tang and Yellow Eyed Tang, a pajama cardinal, and an assortment of damsels.

The red stuff is a type of seaweed that is brilliant red. I find it adds a nice color to the tank and as a bonus if grows fairly fast. My tangs sometimes graze on it a little but it far outgrows their consumption. As with macro algae in my refugium, I harvest it on a regular basis and it helps export excess nutrients. I got it from my nephew and he says it is one these three, Red dragon, dragons breath, or dragons tongue.

My sump is totally not impressive. It functions simply as a collection point for water from fuge and calcium reactor. The Bubble-Magus skimmer is new as of today. I was bummed that I had to move it to the refugium from the sump because my sump's water level is only about 6" of water and the Bubble-Magus couldn't push water high enough to function. The lights on the refugium run about 16 hrs/night, 3pm to 7am. I run a phosphate filter but haven't change media for weeks now.

The 55 gal tank functions primarily as my sump. the majority of the ditrimus collects in it and I siphon it out when I do water changes. The 55 accounts for about 25% of my water volume so if I totally empty it I can do a 25% change. I keep two 32 gal Brute trash cans full of replacement water. When I do a water change these cans get automatically refilled from the RO/DI filter via float valve.

Don't know what kind of zoos they are. Each polyp is about 1/4' in diameter. Came as hitchhikers on something else. I generally don't encourage zoos or mushroom. While they look nice they tend to be weeds. I am constantly having to peel them off to prevent them from taking over the entire tank. My wife likes them so I haven't been able to totally get rid of them.

Luckily in our tank the Zoas don't spread fast. I e got rid of most my weeds, lol. Been hitting a pally patch with aiptasia-x. What's the coral above the Zoas? :).

Don't know, it was another hitch hiker that showed up from who knows where.
