I was planning on using the RLSS R8i skimmer from my previous tank a couple years back that i never sold but after transferring everything over from my JBJ RL30 it was over skimming my tank. I tried lowering the pump speed increasing feedings along with amino acids etc but still ended up with too clean of water so i lost a few lps including acans and blastos. The hammers, frogspawn, torch and duncans started shriveling up and sps started to lose color. I ended up selling the RLSS and purchased a used Reef Octo elite 150 and everything has bounced back.

Wife got tired of buckets and reef stuff everywhere and gave me the coat closet beside the tank where i added a few shelves and i try to keep things somewhat organized. Bought a used Bubble magus doser and a acrylic dosing container to dose Ecosystems balling salts. Purchased a few packs at a discount from a online vendor and probably have enough for the next 7-8 months.
