Over Skimming? Bad?

I picked up an ASM G-3 Skimmer from SpawnGawn for my 125. It has a rating up to 250 gal. Is over skimming going to be an issue for a reef tank?

That skimmer should be fine for that tank. If anything it may be too small.

That wouldn't be over skimming for your tank, it would be spot on the correct size, as we recommend twice your water volume for the skimmer.
And as Mike stated, all depending on what you have in the tank, it may me to small.
