Hi all,

I overdosed my 230g tank with at least 150m of BactoBalance (not sure exact number). Usual dose for my tank is 9ml max. This happened 5 days ago but problems persist. Thankfully no fish have died.

I've done 2 water changes 35g each (15%) every other day. Removed 1/2 my chaeto to decrease No3 consumption.

I've added a ton of aeriation -- including air stone and moved all powerheads up.

Latest stats:
* Alk: 11.33 (I regretfully use RedSea Coral Pro, which already has high Alk)
* Ca: 457
* Mag: 1453
* Po4: .07 yesterday are now .25
* No3: 6.4 (yesterday it was 20 after dosing a ton of NeoNitro)
* pH: 7.5 - 7.9

The overdose made the little vibrio [0.263 (average tank is 0.6 according to Aquabiomics) spike, since all my SPS (stylio, 1 of 3 montis, bird's nest are dead) experienced RTN and are now dead.

Due to the RTN, I started dosing Cipro on a 10 day treatment, which I have experience with, according to Mike Paletta's -- 230mg for my tank. UV and other media are therefore off.

The tank is still very cloudy, even though it has been 5 days.

Does anyone have any recommendations of what else I could do?

(first pic is cloudiness, rest is RTN)

Cipro kills off good bacteria along with bad so your damaging your biome with continuous dosing. Do a couple more water changes and run a big bag of carbon. Raise nitrates back up. You can cut lights to 6 hours for a few days with blue and uv only no whites.
