Overflow box help

So I’m going nuts trying to figure out how to bean animal this modular marine 1600. The bulkhead and nuts will be in the way. Why would they make the bottom holes so close together? Will I just have to do straight pipes without the 90 fittings? That’ll suck. Any suggestions would be a big help. Thanks!

I used a pair of ratcheting pipe cutters and trimmed them down. Thanks for the tip though
