Hey guys, I just got a new tank, and its drilled (old tank wasn't) but someone built a cheesy stand pipe for the overflow and I was just wondering if you guys could give me some ideas on what to use. My dad just makes his own and they work fine. But once this is set up I dont really want to have to mess with it again. So is it better to make one and if so what is the best setup to use? or buy a megaflow or something like that. Thanks for any input.

Search for Durso or Stockamn standpipes. You will also find the Hofer Gurgle Buster and others too. I have been using an early Stockman design for about 8 years now and have never had to mess with it at all other than a cleaning maybe once a year.
