The idea is to let the inkbird do the switching, so set the Jaegers 2 degrees higher than inkbird. If the inkbird fails shorts on, the Jaegers will turn off via their normal bimetal thermostat. They are the best choice for this purpose since most other heaters are electronic, and will fail prematurely due to increase power cycling.Do you know if added a controller such as the inkbird if it would keep the thermostat on the heater at the “on” position? It seems to me this would be the area most prone for failure.
