I've had my ocellaris clown with me for about 5 years now, he managed to survive me having 2 kids since I got him (and letting my tank go completely to hell as a result). He's (actually probably she, given the lack of any tankmates) my only fish left, and now that I'm starting to get back into things, I want to get another clown to pair with her. I was intending on getting a regular ocellaris, or possibly a black ocellaris (I love those, used to have a pair), but when I was at the store earlier today I saw a beautiful blood orange clown. I know it's a hybrid maroon and ocellaris, so I wanted to ask, has anyone successfully paired a blood orange with an ocellaris? I'm currently leaning away from this, as It's just a 40G AIO cube and I'd rather not risk my existing clown, but if there's overwhelmingly positive experiences mixing the two I just might go for it.
Let me know, any info is appreciated!

hi,i would not risk it,add smaller ocellaris, prob best option in close quarters
