I bought a very pale colored mystery wrasse today. It has been at my LFS in their fish system (1.020 and copper) for almost 9 months!! Was swimming around normally but his coloration is pale overall. I kind of took a chance on it becuase being at the lfs for 9 months it deserves a shot in a real tank. Has anyone had a mystery wrasse "color up" over time? Do yall think being in 1.020 and copper for 9 months will cause issues? Hoping the little guy will make it! So far so good.

I am no medication expert, but being in copper for 9 months is ridiculously long. That being said, all new fish are pale when first added...give him a week to settle in and his color should return to normal (assuming the copper has no long lasting effects).
