So I have a small 5G with palys all on the sand bed. One of 8 frags had extended polyps, like really REALLY extended. Reaching for light? So I moved it up to the middle level (6-7 inca higher lol) but the polyps are still EXTREMELY extended. Any ideas?

The current was low on the bed. But at mid hight they are getting a good flow. Maybe they need high flow high light?

Some palys love to extend regarding light or current. Nothing to worry about if it colors are corrected, not brown out or fading

I got these browned out. They look like they could color up to maybe a 2 color inside with green skirt. I'll post pics

2 led chips, ones 20W and ones 10W running both at 50% for 7ish hours. Enough light to need weekly glass cleaning. And again it's only 5G.

After 2 days with higher light they are half the length they were. Showing a little more color on the skirt.
