Almost overnight a couple of the polyps have turned white. Some only have little hints of white flesh that look like they could peel off the tops while a couple polyps are completely white. This is a newer piece of coral for my tank, I've had it a few days.

Is this a type of fungus or something I need to treat proactively?

Water parameters are okay. Nitrites at 0, nitrates were 20 but I just did a 20% water change, ammonia is about .2 ppm. The palys are in a 20g with Current USA Marine Orbit lighting.

Looks like there is quite a bit of algae building up on the polyps which could be irritating the polyps. Have you tried dipping them in anything (lugols/FW) yet?

I haven't dipped them in lugols but that was going to be my next step.

I would start with a dip and place them in medium to high flow area and see how that goes.
