I bought two Panta Rhei surge 63 in March of this year, both failed almost immediately, and I am still waiting on replacement pumps and going to tank mounts instead of the surge boxes, unique Coral assure me they stand behind their product 100%, but it’s been three months and I still have no working pumps - frustrating to say the least. When I did get them to fire up initially, the tops would pop off and they had no fix for it. I would’ve thought that they would have done some due diligence and research before they brought this product to market.

That sucks.

Have they provided any recent information about the replacements?
No resolution as of today, keep telling me they are working on it, said they are not carrying surge anymore and have no eta on pump return

Update after being told that there were no pumps in the country, and a lengthy conversation they said that they actually did have pumps with longer cords and we’re going to send one with me after I expressed my frustration over and over. Hopefully these pumps will work without issue.

Interesting. I had reached out to them asking about the tubes to get a size recommendation and possible installation. They came back with that while also recommending the Panta Surge 63 as a secondary option if I didn't want to drill the tank. I did some searches and can't find the Surge for sale anywhere in the US. Saw some in EMEA but that isn't going to help here.

Did you ask to swap it over to the tube or would that work? Seems like a pretty large investment to not come up with something a couple of months later.

They are sending me the 2 63 tubes , after a week and a half of running me around, I suspect this will be the last time I buy a Panta Rhei product

Huge bummer I have a couple 42's and really like them and I also have a 42 surge that I have not used yet this is really sad news to me reading what your going through

I just bought a panta rhei 63 . Does anyone have this pump? Mine does not have any rubber to protect the glass I will not attach it. My question to anyone that has one did yours come with any rubber padding for the glass. Thanks

Mine came with plasticized magnets which mount directly

They have taken the surges down, I would definitely not run it with the surge because when it pulls anything off the bottom it binds the pump up
