my daughter decided that I needed to join the world of cell phone users & got me a pantech hotshot I am trying to add some music but can't figure the thing out. it does not have internet but I do (duh) have internet on my desktop & on my playstation 3 is there a way to download music somehow? what I want to do is transfer some of my cd's to this phone is there a way to do this without it having internet?
all this new stuff is making me feel old & stupid!

if it has a memory card you probably need a reader that reads that specific card connected to your desktop then transfer the music off your cpu and onto the memory card. put memory card in the phone and you should be able to access it.

Many smart phones can be connected to a computer via USB. Windows usually recognizes them as a removable drive and you can just drag the files into the subfolder that they belong in.

well I can't figure it out I connected via usb & that didn't work I don't know what a reader is? but the phone does have a memory card I have no idea if its a smart phone but I can tell you it doesn't seem to be connected to a smart person ha ha when I connected the phone it ran a program called TL-runbootstrap.exe but it keeps asking to run the program I hit yes then nothing happens I did find the right program & figured how to drag my music and I figured out how to sync but above where the files & sync areas it has a place that shows a phone icon & says add device guess I'll have to wait till she comes home for Christmas thanks

it comes with 512MBinternal storage and 256MB available storage with 2GB SD card not a lot of room but it does support a 32GB SD card I'd upgrade the SD card before putting music on. Space fills up rather quick on phones. Also as with such a small amount of internal memory make sure you clear your text message cache's or the phone is gunna act really glitchy. It does support MP3's but as it is a Pantech don't expect too much from the phone. How to put music on it I'm not entirely sure but you should be able to take the SD card out plug it into either a USB adapter or SD card reader for your CPU and just put the music on that way. It should have come with the micro USB to USB to plug into your computer.
