Par Meter

I am getting sick and tired of placing new stuff in my tank and having them brown on me due to too much light or not enough.My solution to this is of course buy myself a Par meter.Everytime I take a trip to a LFS I plan on bringing it with me:DI am trying to find a good reliable one so I need suggestions please.

That's a good idea, and some people do that. Apogee sells PAR meters. I've used their normal one, and later purchased the nicer (pricier) version. Mine is the MQ200: Apogee Quantum Meters: Options & Pricing
