parasite or not?

i have a valentini puffer and just noticed a red dot on his belly/side and it is slightly sticking out. there appeares to be a tiny red lump or mark under his skin as well. cant really take a pic of it he moves to much and small so probably wont be clear shot anyways. ive looked online for parasites but none seem to match. anyone had anything simillar? sorry if im posting in the wrong forum didnt see anything about fish health on here. input is apperciated

how old is the fish? it may be from collection. it may be an infection setting in pics would really help

ive had him for a year and a half probably with no probs, havent added anything new to the tank either and we make our own salt water so i dont know how he could have got anything ill try to take a pic
