I always recommend getting one of those orange filters for your phone. Orphek makes an excellent lens kit for phones

Some updates on the reef:

Since last time stocking list grew a bit! Got a baby hippo tang and added 3 anthias (of which i'm missing one), never found my royal gramma sooooo... yeah, unfortunate. All the other fish from before are doing well, orange shoulder is getting pretty fat and bullying around so I might have to re-home him soon.

I went through a little fluke outbreak in the beginning of December with my hippo tang when I first introduced him so I went ahead and dosed with some prazi-pro. Took care of the flukes and the hippo's happy now but it did kinda take a toll on some of the coral I had, my goni's did not like them and have been closed up still.

My coral stocking list goes as such:
I'm a sucker for euphiliyas and I know they like mature tanks but I went ahead and added something every other week or so. Currently I have 2 dragon soul torches (different colors), one gold torch, i had a UC blacklight torch but unfortunately it didnt make it- it did well at first and in december it closed up and turned white and eventually got BJD. I got a couple of hammers as well; copper hammer, orange branching hammer, 2 rainbow hammers, 2 green with purple tips, toxic splatter hammer all doing pretty well except for my orange which has started closing up a little.

Other corals include: 2 rainbow acans, 1 green/blue acan, 4-5 different types of favia (not doing particularly well except my raptor and wolverine favia), 1 big pink goni and 2 smaller green/blue gonis that I mentioned before, and some sps I tried out

Unfortunately I had a terrible dino outbreak 2 weeks before christmas which choked out some sps I had and basically took over the tank but I have since recovered thankfully after doing like 5 different strategies simultaneously lol

This is more or less the current state, need to try figuring out the best way to balance my tank and help stabilize it. Theres periods where algae/cyano come and go.
