Parting out a XR15 G6 Pro

Any interest in a parted out Radion XR15 Pro, or anyone know what this would be worth? I believe this would be a G5 Pro.
Owner before me mentioned it was working when it was stored but after testing it after a year it no longer was working.

I did some basic electrical analysis / diagnostics.

Opened it up, cleaned up some salt creep and minor corrosion (top of board, pic 1), but the salt creep was a red herring.
There was a solder bridge on the MCU and the MCU is fried with USB_P0 on this chip shorted to VSSA. Gets extremely hot to the touch so short is likely internal at this point (bridge was fixed).

MCU, LDO voltage regulator all get hot to the touch. Other components seem to be OK, this LED Driver board would be good as a donor board.

LED array, input power pre-driver board, wireless chip seem OK.

Will attach thermal images in the morning.

What would this be worth / any interest in this? I personally would either be looking for a replacement LED driver for myself to buy and I'd install this light on my frag tank, or I would like to sell this to someone who needs parts for their own repair(s).

I'm based in the South Bay Los Angeles area in case local.

Might not be what you would like to hear but for me it's about worth just the shipping cost.
But might be worth more to others that like to fix the internals and then flip these types of things.
It's a niche group though.

Working reef gear isn’t worth much these days.

Non-working reef gear isn’t really worth anything. Unless, as mentioned above, you find that unicorn buyer.

Non-working reef gear, that was purchased used (supposedly working but not verified) and stored for a year, then disassembled but not fixed….,well, I don’t think it’s going to fly off the shelf as they say.

Good luck with this. Maybe google up “fix reef” and shoot them an email to see if they’d be interested.

It would be a fun project and good practice for soldering skills.

If it were mine i would try to fix it myself and if i screw it up - oh well. i tried. Wasn't working anyway.
And if i do manage to fix it - great!
Some soldering projects need special equipment like a reflow kit. And also takes special skills, even with the equipment.
I have done my fair share of soldering and i am nowhere near the level for using special soldering equipment like that.

Or another option would be to contact Radion. See how much it would cost for them to look into it/fix it?
Since it is a G5/6 Pro that might be a viable option.
