Patnala's 60G Mixed Reef

I'm so jealous!
Hmmmm where do you live in Detroit? Street house number ? Haha

lol..I guess I need to be careful :)

Nice looking Acans!

Thanks !!!

nice collection of acans and zoanthids. I hope to se more photos.

The tank is going through a dark cycle today and tomorrow. I will try to get more pics later this weekend. Usually after a dark period the colors are even brighter so I hope to get good pics.

Fantastic collection! Something to aspire to. What are the Palys/zoas on top of the right island in the fts? The polps are huge!

Thanks for the very nice comments. They are goochsters, I started off with a 4 polyp frag two years ago. I really like them because the polyps are huge.

A nice pic of some of my acans

very nice man! I can't quite keep my colors like that with my current bulb combo. I came to a decision that I'll be giving up most of my Aussie lords. :(

they'll be making a home to our frag tank at my parent's house under 4 Blue + bulbs. hope that gets their colors back. :)

Thanks Marv, I know and I run into the same problem , unlike you I dont have a large frag tank so I am kinda stuck trying to manage everything in my 65g display.

Look at this royal flesh. After enjoying 5 clams and tons of snails finally I caught it and now its enjoying a ride down the toilet.

Ok does it kinda look like a snail ? I have a snail looking thing that has a little shield type thing on the back and it only comes out at night and looks like it eats stuff of the rock. Do you know what it is?

No , in this case its eating the snail.
Its a large flatworm, its body is flat and it crawls on rock and sand. See its body on the sand, thats what it looks like, grayish black spotted.

My small project over the weekend as I am running out of space in my display. I call it the coral tree.

Hopefully coraline will cover it in 3-4 months.

How do you all like it?

Sweet nem!

Where did you get the plastic container it is in? I tried to use a strainer and my nem's just went through the holes.

very nice anemone. :)

Thanks Marv , now the only one I am missing that is want is the lemon drop.

Sweet nem!

Thanks .

I built it using knitting sheets and zip ties from Micheals art store. Before I had it in a fish acclimation box and the nem was moving from the slits .

Man! Your tank just keeps getting better! Even your pesky flatworm is beautiful! May he RIP. :)

Thanks for the very kind words. Now pray that I get a lemon drop anemone:bigsmile:
