Now this looks like a diamond in the rough. I hope she says yes!So this is what I've been considering. Essentially it's a custom 80 breeder. (48"L x 24"W x 16.5"T) If the wife permits, it'll probably be a go. Not much to look at now, but it would be getting an overhaul.
"I gotcha bro!"
Thanks! He was on him for a little while, just hitching.HA! Nice shot!
Not yet.. she's out of town right now. The 80 isn't going anywhere no time soon. My buddy has it stashed away in the back of his shop. Swapped out the new sump today and added an extra 10 gals to the system. I'll probably be looking to upgrading the skimmer next. I'll be getting a model that will work on a possible future upgrade like the 80 or maybe larger. Here is a before, during, and after photo. Had to cut a corner to fit it in, it was a really tight fit. It's not the first time I've had to get the dewalt out on a running tank. Aldo debating on have a refugium in the sump at all.So did she say "yes"?
Thank you! I highly recommend the "Herbie method", as I did.Your tank looks amazing btw. I saw you have a single return. I'm planning my 40b build right now, what are your thoughts on a center overflow with a return on either side of the overflow?
Me too! Well, I love critters in general. LolLove critters like that! Those comensal relationships are so neat.
Cool! I love those guys! It's seems I have failed to mention the little purple dartfish I added 2 days ago. Well yea, I added a nonwrasse to the tank. Really cool and chill little dude. He's actually in video I just posted, but here are some photos of him.
