Have watched this little war start a couple months ago each seeming to fight the good fight. Sometimes it would appear the Lepto was winning and a week later the Pavona. Finally seems the tide has turned and I am a little surprised but the Pavona has finally started to win the war. Really I have no idea why I would be surprised, guess maybe I just wanted the Lepto too win.

Plan on pulling the frag piece off and sticking that on a plug and let that do its thing. I will be adding some putty between the mother colonies.

Before the War began

Now
sorry about the blur spot :)

Here is the mother colony of the Pavona. Interestingly enough the Pavona and stylophora coral have been at a stalemate for ages.

Love it Chris...survival of the fittest right in our living rooms.
