Hi there, I am going to install three Pentek big blue filters using copper press connections for my house plumbing, however due to limited space I cannot use union fittings, only the 1'' male to press brass fittings for the filter housing connection. Because with press I have one chance of success, what's the best way to ensure it will not leak when I turn my water back on? I am thinking to wrap blue monster tape 4 turns followed by Megaloc sealant, then turn it snug without using too much force so I don't crack the plastic housing. I'd like to hear from those who have done such install with success.
Also the sumps came with 3/8'' drain valve to make filter change easier, but the plastic drain valve looks kinda flimsy, will that be a potential source of leak down the line?
Any other tips are welcome! Thanks!

SharkBite can be rotated right? So in case if it leaks I can still tighten it after the connection is made.
