They are in fact a different fish... WWC is offering a Bodianus opercularis (Indian Ocean) or Bodianus neopercularis (Pacific Ocean), depending on where it was collected (some speculate actually same species). The Live Aquaria link is for Bodianus sepiacaudus.Not sure I get the difference between your Peppermint Hogfish, and what F&S sells as the Pacific Redstripe Hogfish @ $89.99
It will stay pretty they do not change color much as they age. Look at the link above for size/care as they are very similar to the Pacific Redstripe Hog.I really digging the peppermint hog how big do they get and do they stay thAt pretty?
NoWill the hogfish fight with a candy basslet?? I am assuming so since their body shape and striping is somewhat similar.
