Any recommendations for things to look for when 4 peppermint shrimp die? My Skunk and Fire shrimp seem to be doing ok but my 4 peppermints died out of no where.

Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite are all 0
PH was 8.4
KH took 8 drops

what are we missing for testing?

Side note - watching snails and crabs and shrimp fight over the dead shrimp is wild and a learning experience for kids

If you’re using API test kits- you’re likely getting false reading
Possibilities are:
High nitrate
High phosphate
Low or high salinity
Ammonia
Stray voltage

What fish do you have in your tank? I tried with them in my tank and even fish that aren't supposed to bother them went after them.
