I have a 13 gallon sump divided into 3 sections(2 of which are 5 gallons) one of the 5 gallon sections has my protein skimmer, a pump, and some rocks in it. The other has some macro algea, a filter pad, some small rocks, and the heater. Can I get a peppermint shrimp for one of them and if so which section is better? Will the heater or the pumps hurt the shrimp? And what is the minimum tank size/swimming room it needs? Thanks in advance.

Ok thanks I just dont want it to burn itself. Do you think that might be a problem? And if so what can I use to protect the shrimp from the heater?
