So I have 4 peppermint shrimp in my tank, all purchased at different times and 2 of them have become a mated pair and the larger one is currently full of eggs. So my question is, without intervention from me, what is the likelihood of any of the offspring surviving in a standard reef tank?

I would think very unlikely based on my own experience.

I was afraid of that. My wife swears up and down that she has seen the big one with eggs before, so its possible they have been repeatedly mating and losing their offspring. :(
