my nitrates and nitrites are a little high. Ph is 7.9 I was thinking of doing partial water change but I'm thinking the tank didn't finish recycling. What should I do?

What was your nitrite level? I think you had a typo and I can't tell

If the tank's 5 months old, the cycle should definitely be complete. What kind of decoration do you have? I guess it's possible that there aren't enough surfaces for bacteria to grow on.

As for nitrate, that doesn't matter too much for fish.

Nitrite 5.0
I had to sanitize my tank due to bacterial inf to my seahorses. They were not happy in the 2g after treatment.
Been cycling 2 weeks I believe now

Ooooh, that makes sense then. If your seahorses are in the in cycled tank, you’ll have to keep up with adding Prime and water changes like the guy above said

Not necessary. That removes the little bit of bio filtration that is trying to become established. Just add a cap of prime per 50gs man and test it tomorrow. It’ll likely be 0.
Thank you so much!will diffenitely do today. Im dedicated to my babies.
