Found this used Peristaltic Pump online that was at a price I could not pass up. So I bought it without fully thinking it through. It did not come with any tubing.

So now I’m looking at purchasing the tubing, looking around i am discovering it is really expensive to buy that pump specific tubing. Looking around a bit more on the internet I have found I can get the correct size Silicone tubing for a much lower price than the Manufacturer brands or the pharmacy/ Medical grade brands that are the suggested replacements.

Just want a little input on the subject before I order. Anyone out there have any experience with this?

BASA,
I am not sure if they can help or not but Spectrapure has been building the Litermeter for years and have lots of experience with peristaltic pumps and tubing. When I poke to them about tubing they told me there are lots of different quality levels and some do not hold up well. Thye have done lots of experimentation and found some they like, you might give them a call or email.

Norprene tubing is what you want to get. All the other stuff will fair rather quickly.

Thanks for the responces!
AZDesertRat - The pump is a Monostat Junior Cassette pump. I will look up Spectrapure and see what they have to offer.
SWINGRRRR - That is actually the same tubing I was thinking about gettnig. Well that was one I was considering. Do you use it?
ianiwane - I only recall seeeing Silicone tubing... Ill look around and see whats out the that is made of Norprene.
